St. George's, Bristol @ 7.30pm

This event is part of a national celebration of exceptional talented young musician and dancers supported by the Department of Children, Schools & Families Music and Dance Scheme. Performers from South West Music School, Wells Cathedral School and Swindon Youth Dance Academy will be joined by students from the RWCMD Junior Department to stage a spectacular and Excellent! evening.  

The programme will include a wide range of styles from Contemporary to Urban dance influenced by choreographers such as Merville Jones founder member of Phoenix Dance Company and street dance guru Banxy, original singer/songwriter material, classical soloists and songs from West End musicals and will feature the unique folk-inspired duo of Ben & Alfie Weedon, RWCMD Junior Department Jazz Ensemble and the WCS Chamber Orchestra performing Mendelssohn’s ‘Italian’ Symphony No.4.
