Sharing the Findings from a National Research Project into Dance Talent Development

Do you want to know more about dance talent development?
This symposium will launch the findings of a three year interdisciplinary research project into the development of dance talent among young people. It is the largest project of its kind and involved over 500 young dancers from eight Centres for Advanced Training.
Taking place in Laban’s iconic building in South East London, this one-day event will include:
Daytime symposium
- Keynote address by a renowned international expert from the dance education and science community
- Research presentations on the psychological, physiological and social aspects of talent development
- Interactive workshops
Refreshments will be provided
Evening celebration
- Drinks reception
- Keynote address by a renowned dance artist
- Performances by some of the talented young dancers from the Centres for Advanced Training
